Marc Mero Body Slam

For those of you who are familiar with the WWF, TNA, and WCW Wrestling, Marc Mero (aka Johnny B Badd) has established a fitness training center in Altamonte Springs that focuses on getting individuals back on track to a healthier lifestyle. Body Slam is renowned for their butt kicking workouts and quality results. When you look at the website and read the testimonials you cannot help but think that you could achieve the same results. So, starting tomorrow I am going to put them to the test.

For my Christmas present this year, Ricky purchased a gift certificate for me to have 16 sessions at Marc Mero's Body Slam. I couldn't have been more excited. I have been talking about getting a personal trainer for awhile now and Ricky has managed to line up the best ones in Central Florida for me. When someone purchases a gift certificate for their significant other, apparently it is customary to warm them that the recipient of the gift may not appreciate what they are receiving. Apparently, they warned Ricky of this fact when he purchased the certificate, but he assured them I would appreciate this gesture. He was right. I couldn't believe that I will have the opportunity to kick start my weight loss journey so quickly.

So tomorrow at 9AM I will be going to Body Slam for the initial consultation and fitness set up. Here's hoping I can survive the first day. Cross your fingers and prayer for me.

I am going to make sure to update the blog with weight and measurements as I move through this journey, but I will spare you the sight of pictures. At the end of the journey I will probably post a before and after, but I will spare you that imagery until August.
