I made my way back to Body Slam on Monday for my second session. I was ready to get started although I knew it was going to be harder than the first day. I met with Tanya and we got started right away. We went directly into the workout room and proceeded around the room in the same order we had previously except we went much more quickly this time around. Basically, the workout takes about 20 minutes when you are pushing through, but the first day takes a bit longer because you have to figure out your chair positions and learn proper form. Apparently once you get the form down you go nonstop, one machine to the next. There is no
recoop time. So needless to say my muscles are constantly reminding me why I needed to do this in the first place.
Tanya had also asked me to fill out a food journal so that she could monitor what I have been eating to make sure I was on the right track. According to what she saw on my log, I was eating correctly. Hopefully this means I should start to see results soon. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a long process and is not going to change over night, but I am definitely feeling better than I have felt in the past, so I must be doing something right.
I go back again on Thursday afternoon for session 3.
